Built by a stonemason
Made by someone who works with families every day
Tribute Tiles was created by Luke Blakely, a fourth-generation monumental stonemason based in Bendigo, Victoria. Working with families, he kept seeing the same thing: a beautiful headstone carrying only a name and two dates, while a lifetime of stories risked being lost.
A Tribute Tile keeps those stories alive — the photos, the voice messages, the memories — and you decide what visitors can see and add before anything appears on the memorial.

What Is a QR Code for a Headstone?
A Tribute Tile is a premium weatherproof QR memorial tile designed to be permanently placed on a headstone, gravestone, memorial bench, or any flat surface. Made from industrial-grade Duramax coated metal, it withstands UV, rain, and extreme temperatures — built to last decades outdoors.
Each tile contains a unique QR code for a gravestone that, when scanned with any smartphone camera, instantly opens a full digital memorial page — no app required.
Unlike traditional headstone engravings limited to a name and two dates, a QR headstone plaque from Tribute Tiles unlocks an entire life story — hundreds of photos, videos, voice messages, condolences, and a growing tribute that family and friends anywhere in the world can visit and contribute to.
One-time payment of $150 AUD. Lifetime digital hosting included. Free worldwide shipping. No subscriptions, ever.
Frequently Asked Questions — QR Codes for Headstones
What is a QR code for a headstone?+
A QR code for a headstone is a small, weatherproof plaque that is attached to a gravestone or memorial. When scanned with a smartphone camera, it opens a digital memorial page containing photos, videos, life story, and messages from loved ones.
How long does a memorial QR tile last outdoors?+
Tribute Tiles are made from industrial-grade Duramax coated metal with a laser-engraved QR code — not printed. They are UV-resistant, waterproof, and built to withstand Australian weather conditions for decades without fading or deteriorating.
Do you need an app to scan the QR code on a headstone?+
No. The QR code works with the built-in camera app on any modern iPhone or Android device. Simply open the camera, point it at the tile, and tap the link that appears — no app download required.
How much does a QR code gravestone tile cost?+
A Tribute Tile costs $150 AUD — a one-time payment that includes lifetime digital hosting for the memorial page. There are no ongoing fees, subscriptions, or renewal costs. Free worldwide shipping is included.
Can I attach a QR memorial tile to an existing headstone?+
Yes. Tribute Tiles use a strong weather-resistant adhesive and can be applied to any flat surface — granite, marble, concrete, or metal. No drilling or modification to the headstone is required.
Who can see the digital memorial when the QR code is scanned?+
You control who can see the memorial. You can set it to fully public, semi-private (accessible via link only), or private. You also control whether visitors can leave condolence messages or upload photos.
