About Tribute Tiles
Honoring memories with dignity, technology, and love
Our Story
Tribute Tiles was founded in Victoria, Australia to bridge the gap between traditional memorials and modern technology. We saw families struggling to preserve and share precious memories of their loved ones in meaningful ways. Physical memorials are beautiful but limited in what they can convey.
Our premium QR memorial tiles solve this by connecting weather-resistant plaques to rich digital tributes. Anyone with a smartphone can scan the QR code to instantly access photos, videos, stories, and messages— creating a living memorial that grows over time.
Today, we're proud to serve families worldwide—from Australia to North America, Europe, and beyond— helping them create lasting digital legacies for only $150 with lifetime hosting included.
Meet the Founder
Tribute Tiles was created by Luke Blakely, a fourth-generation monumental stonemason based in Bendigo, Victoria.
Working with families, Luke kept seeing the same thing: a beautiful headstone carrying only a name and two dates, while a lifetime of stories risked being lost.
He created Tribute Tiles so families can preserve those stories — the photos, the voices, the memories — and share them with anyone who scans the tile, for generations to come.
Our Values
Dignity & Respect
Every memorial is sacred. We treat each profile with the utmost respect and care, ensuring it honors the memory of your loved one with dignity.
Privacy & Security
Your memories are private. We employ industry-standard security measures and give you full control over who can view and contribute to each memorial.
Family-Centered
Memorials are meant to be shared. We make it easy for families to collaborate, add memories, and keep the memorial updated together.
Accessible Everywhere
No apps, no barriers. Anyone with a smartphone can scan the QR code and instantly connect with the memorial, anywhere in the world.
The Technology Behind Tribute Tiles
Our memorial tiles are crafted from high-grade, weather-resistant materials designed to withstand years of outdoor exposure. Each tile features a laser-engraved QR code that links directly to a secure, cloud-hosted memorial page.
When someone scans the QR code with their phone's camera, they're instantly taken to the memorial—no app downloads, no complicated steps. The memorial pages are optimized for mobile viewing and load quickly even on slower connections.
Memorial pages are hosted online and can be visited from anywhere, on any phone. If you have questions about how it all works, email luke@tributetiles.com.
